Food Photography | Quick bite at Bab Milano

When traveling, we always find ourselves hungry at odd hours when everything seems to be closed. At one of these times, we stumbled upon Bab while traveling in Milan, a Korean fast casual joint. Bab serves mainly Kimbap.

According to Wikipedia, Kimbap is a "popular Korean dish made from steamed white rice (bap) and various other ingredients, rolled in gim (sheets of dried laver seaweed) and served in bite-size slices. Kimbap is often eaten during picnics or outdoor events, or as a light lunch, served with danmuji or kimchi."

Already being a fan of sushi, we loved this Korean version. In addition, the service there was excellent, the atmosphere channeling that of a cozy, warm spot with handmade wooden furniture.

We also ordered soup which we devoured without hesitation. And ordered some more Kimbap for dessert :)

If you find yourself in Milan, hungry on those hours between lunch and dinner and nothing is open, head over to Bab Milano, Via San Marco, 34-20121, Milan.
